Roseman Bioventures Recognized for Innovation and Industry Advancement in Southern Nevada

Roseman Bioventures is being recognized for its role in advancing Southern Nevada’s growing life sciences economy.

The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA) has named Roseman University of Health Sciences’ Roseman Bioventures the recipient of the Innovation & Industry Advancement Award as part of its inaugural 2026 Perspective Awards. The awards recognize organizations, projects and leaders making significant contributions to Southern Nevada’s economic growth, diversification and quality of life.

The Innovation & Industry Advancement Award honors an organization driving forward-thinking innovation or advancing a key target industry through technology, product or service development, infrastructure, research or policy. In announcing the award, LVGEA specifically highlighted Roseman Bioventures and its work to build the infrastructure and ecosystem needed for life sciences companies to develop, commercialize and grow in Southern Nevada.

“This award reflects what’s possible when a region commits to building something new,” said Dr. Renee Coffman, President and Co-Founder of Roseman University. “Roseman Bioventures was built on the belief that Southern Nevada can compete as a destination for biotechnology and life science innovation, and we’re already seeing that vision take shape through the companies, investors and partners choosing to grow here.”

The recognition comes as Southern Nevada continues to broaden its economic base and strengthen emerging industries. For Roseman Bioventures, that means helping establish life sciences as an increasingly important part of the region’s innovation economy while connecting entrepreneurs, researchers, investors and industry partners.

Recognizing Southern Nevada’s Economic Leaders

Roseman joins five other inaugural Perspective Award recipients whose work reflects the breadth of investment and innovation taking place across Southern Nevada.

The Governor’s Office of Economic Development received the Strategic Partnership Award for its collaborative efforts to advance economic development across Nevada, while National Technical Institute received the Community & Workforce Impact Award for its contributions to workforce development and skilled-trades training. Haas Automation earned the Regional Investment Award as it prepares to open a 2.5 million-square-foot manufacturing facility in Henderson in 2027. Michael J. Bonner, co-managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Las Vegas office, received the Distinguished Leadership Award for his longstanding contributions to Southern Nevada’s business and civic community. The Athletics’ Las Vegas Ballpark received the Economic Impact Award, recognizing the future Major League Baseball ballpark and its anticipated contributions to tourism, entertainment, job creation and economic development.

Together, the honorees represent the investments, partnerships and ideas helping shape the next chapter of Southern Nevada’s economy. For Roseman Bioventures, being recognized among them reinforces the growing role life sciences can play in that future.

The recipients will be honored at LVGEA’s inaugural Perspective Awards Dinner on October 15 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Read more at lvgea.org.
